Re: ML370 G3 Ram upgrade
Please make sure that you install identical DIMMs in pairs so that both slots in the bank are populated
Install the DIMM's in order. like populating the bank from A to C.

Hi,
See

For example, you can buy 3 Gb of additional RAM by using 300679-B21 and 300680-B21 memory kits.
But probably best option will be buy 300682-B21 memory kit ((2 x 2048 MB) and use 2 * 512MB in another server.

Re: ML370 G3 Ram upgrade
The ML370G3 has a total of 6 DIMM slots, and memory must be added in identical pairs. If you want to keep the existing 2 x 512MB DIMMS, this will leave 4 DIMM slots to add up to 4 more DIMMs (2 pair). Here are your memory options (each part number is a single DIMM, so you need to buy in pairs)
300702-001: 2GB DDR DIMM PC2100
300701-001: 1-GB DDR DIMM PC2100
So if you keep the 2 x 512MB you can add 2 x 2GB total = 5GB) or 2 x 1GB (total = 3GB). To get exactly 4 GB you would have to pull the 2 x 512MB, then buy 2 x 2GB.
