ML370 G3. Was there ever a 5i for this machine ?

Hi all,

I have over 50 ML370 G2's in service, all with the 5i Raid Controller.

I have just aquired some ML370 G3's, with dual 2.8 Xeon processors. But they all came with Compaq's 5300 PCI raid card.
Did they ever make a 5i for this server ??.

I can see no where on the motherboard to fit the 5i. Since in the G2 models its a small 3" square circuit board.

Integrated Dual Channel Wide Ultra3 SCSI Adapter
Smart Array 6402 standard on High Performance models

There is no 5i.

For better overview, check the quickspecs.
