ML370 G3 and smart arry 642
My customer has ML370. It has SA642 controller, six 146.8 GB Disks. I made installation using Smart Start 7.0. Server has W2K with SP4. Disks are defined as single logical drive (RAID 5) and as single partition basic disk in Windows 2000 disk managment. The problem is:
When you enter Windows Explorer the partition looks 4GB. When you check it from Disk Management on the graphical section it appears as 800+ GB single partition and on the above listing as 4 GB.
Does anyone have any idea about what might be wrong?

Re: ML370 G3 and smart arry 642
Hi Toto,
I think that you have installed your OS using smart start defaults and so u have created a partition of 4GB which is the only partition created. If u go to the disk administrator you will have a 4GB partition marked as blue and another partition marked Black/grey and marked as un-partitioned disk space.
If this is the case and u want one single partition I think that u will have to reinstall your server. If u want to create an other partition just right click on the unallocated disk space and follow the wizard.
Hope this helps, and if so plz give me some points. thanks
Pierre
