Re: ML370 G4 SCSI Bus speed

Hi Dmitri,

This customer advisory sounds similar to your problem if the disks are older models.
I see that your bus width is 16-bit however, where this relates to disks being seen as 8-bit.

Try a warm boot as suggested to see if the speeds increase.

I hope this helps.

Re: ML370 G4 SCSI Bus speed

update to the latest PSP750 which is released on the web yesterday :

Is it only a cosmetic error or do you also see performance degradation?

Re: ML370 G4 SCSI Bus speed

Hi everybody!

Thanks for you help!

System ROM is up to date.
HDDs are all HP
Will check HDD firmware (HDDs slightly differ from each other but have same part number).
Tried to use 72 Gb 15K rpm - no effect
Tried warm boot - no effect
POST shows that HDDs are 16 bit wide, and speed is 80 (will be 320 in OS)

Performance seems to be fine (320)

Server is now in our branch office, so I will update PSP only in 1-2 weeks and report here
