ML370 G4 server didn't boot

Hi,
we had a problem with ML370 G4 server. Server didn't boot, Internal Health LED indicator lit RED, and Internal temperature indicator on system board lit AMBER. Temperature in room is normal. All fans are working properly. Where might be a problem?

Hello Mindaugas,

Best bet is to reseat server components one by one.
Start with:
Memory | Processor & PPM | Pci cards | Fans

Try erase NVRAM (with system maintenance switch) also.

Mindaugas,

Check if there is any amber led lit for cooling fans. Try to Swap the fan to a different slot to check if the slot issue or the fan. If the fan works fine in a different slot, could be an issue with the slot on the systemboard.

Re: ML370 G4 server didn't boot

Strange problem with this server. I connected to the the server's ILO and from here reboot the server (Ctrl+Alt+Del button). And server started properly without any errors or messages. In the IML log there was not any errors. Then I updated latest firmware and now server working properly. Now I intently will monitor this server.

Thank you for your responses.
