Do you have the proliant support pack installed?
Is a software control with the health driver that controls the fans while the OS is loaded.

Many threads on this subject for ML370 G5 have been posted here.
Could be P/S, firmware, drivers or thermal environment issues.

Reading through the thread you linked it sounds like a problem with the psu then. With the server being well under warranty how would I go about getting a replacement? :)

You would probably have to go through the troubleshooting with them again though ;)
