ML370 G5 Raid1 problem
I got a ML370 G5 with P400 array controller. We normally have a "seed server" with mirrored drives. We build a new server by pulling a drive from the seed server, stick it in the new server and let the Raid 1 recreate the mirror, and then reconfigure as needed. We are Using Netware 6.5 sp5.
This time the mirror will not recreate. I've blown away the logical drives and raid config on the controller and receated them.
NO luck.
Thanks in advance for suggestions.

Re: ML370 G5 Raid1 problem
Hi
You can try using the smart start cd and doing a complete erase and then an assisted installation Or clear the NVRAM and then try a fresh installation.
cheers,
Akarsh S

Re: ML370 G5 Raid1 problem
Thanks for the suggestion. I figured it out by trying one more thing. I reversed the cables coming off the drive cage to match my "seed" server and tested. As soon as I reran RBSU utility to recreate the Raid1+0 array and 1 logical drive, it started mirroring as hoped. I have tested it another server and it works now too.
