ML370 G5

We are running a ML370 G5 with 4 disks on Raid 0+1. Is it possible by adding 4 disks in the bay to create a second Raid 0+1 arry with the same controler ?

Thanks for help

Yes, it is possible. ML370 G5 is equipped with E200 or P400 controller, both have connection to eight internal HDDs.

Re: ML370 G5

Hi Michael,

Just to clarify... HP Smart array controllers do not support 0+1 raid level.

I guess You are referring to 1+0.

Coming to your question.

Yes, you can create another logical drive on the same controller within the same array with 4 additional hard drives using Raid 1+0.

Or you can create a seperate array then create logical drive with Raid 1+0 configuration.

FYI. Controller Support upto 32 logical drives.
