Hi, I have this server recently and I have problems installing windows. It says that are no disk installed. Can some one help me plz?

All so it says: SCSI BIOS not installed.

1.Is it a onboard scsi controller?
2.If yes,can you acess thw scsi bios by pressing F8 or Ctrl+A?
3.Whats the OS you want to install?
4.Is it ML370 G1 or G2?

with onboard SCSI - you need direct install
with ROC Firmware 1.5 and F8 for Array config
with any other Smart Array do research for model or update info

also verify termination, hdd if necessary

Yes, is an onboard scsi controller. I can enter to the scsi bios pressing ctrl+a, but I dont know what I need to do there.

I want to install the Windows 2003 Server.

Is a ML570 G1.

More info for this case:

I have the ROC Firmware 1.5. I create the logical drive with F8 bios scsi setup. But I have the SCSI BIOS not installed.

I have a red light in the 2 disk (right to left).

Reseat all storage subsystem, SCSI cables and SCSI backplane and HDDs

If that doesn't work, the problem is the SCSI controller.

Ignore message "SCSI BIOS not installed" it's configurationally for Onboard and not affecting System in any way

you need Smart Start CD 5.5
And make sure your HDD are functional %100 and you have created logical drive either from F8 or Smart Start CD

Thanks for the help! But.. I downloaded the Smart Start CD 5.5, when I boot the machine from the CD is freeze and it says: no device present.
