1.Is it a onboard scsi controller?
2.If yes,can you acess thw scsi bios by pressing F8 or Ctrl+A?
3.Whats the OS you want to install?
4.Is it ML370 G1 or G2?

with onboard SCSI - you need direct install
with ROC Firmware 1.5 and F8 for Array config
with any other Smart Array do research for model or update info
also verify termination, hdd if necessary

I have the ROC Firmware 1.5. I create the logical drive with F8 bios scsi setup. But I have the SCSI BIOS not installed.
I have a red light in the 2 disk (right to left).

Ignore message "SCSI BIOS not installed" it's configurationally for Onboard and not affecting System in any way
you need Smart Start CD 5.5
And make sure your HDD are functional %100 and you have created logical drive either from F8 or Smart Start CD

after Array created Direct Install for 2000 or 2003 will do
