Hello Juan,

1.Is it a onboard scsi controller?
2.If yes,can you acess thw scsi bios by pressing F8 or Ctrl+A?
3.Whats the OS you want to install?
4.Is it ML370 G1 or G2?

Yes, is an onboard scsi controller. I can enter to the scsi bios pressing ctrl+a, but I dont know what I need to do there.

I want to install the Windows 2003 Server.

Is a ML570 G1.

thanks

Re: ML370 Proliant P.733.Dual

More info for this case:

I have the ROC Firmware 1.5. I create the logical drive with F8 bios scsi setup. But I have the SCSI BIOS not installed.

I have a red light in the 2 disk (right to left).

Reseat all storage subsystem, SCSI cables and SCSI backplane and HDDs

Re: ML370 Proliant P.733.Dual

If that doesn't work, the problem is the SCSI controller.

Ignore message "SCSI BIOS not installed" it's configurationally for Onboard and not affecting System in any way

you need Smart Start CD 5.5
And make sure your HDD are functional %100 and you have created logical drive either from F8 or Smart Start CD

after Array created Direct Install for 2000 or 2003 will do

Re: ML370 Proliant P.733.Dual

Ok I downloaded the
Compaq System Configuration Utility

But for configure the array the utility ask me the "Array Configuration Disk", but I can't found it!

Re: ML370 Proliant P.733.Dual

If the controller in question is actually the embedded SCSI controller, SSCD 5.5 or ay SSCD will not recognize it, sice SSCD will recognize only Smart Array controllers, what you need to do is to install the OS from the WinCD and specify the driver by pressing f6 when promted.
You heve a question... I have an aswer!!!
