ML370, RH8.0 touble with 4GB RAM
I have a Proliant ML370 server that is running RedHat 8.0. With 3GB RAM or less installed, the server is rock solid. When I put 4GB RAM in, within 24 hours the server stops responding to remote requests (ftp, telnet, ssh, etc) as well as console logons.
I have tried emailing compaq support, and they have now told me that I need to call their 1-800 number to get better help. However, I have tried about 10 times in the past 2 days to call, and all I get is a VRU message about all agents being busy and to try again later.
Does anyone have any experience with this, or know anything I should check?
