HI all,
I am trying to install nt 4 on ML370, but nt cannot reconize the harddrive/s, I have installed the "HP ProLiant 32-Bit SCSI Controller Driver for Windows NT 4.0", but still the drives cannot be seen by NT, what else do i need, i made sure that the 1st logical dirive is only 1.8 gb big (thew 2gb limit), the hhd are fine, i installed the system partion and can access that....what am i missing...?

Re: ML370 and NT4
Hi,
are you using a Smart Array Controller of any sort? Are you using SmartStart to install the OS?
If you are booting from the Windows CD and you have a Smart Array 5x or 6x (5i, 532, 5300, 642, etc.) download the driver and follow the instructions on this page:
http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/19093.html
For an older "Integrated Smart Array Controller", or anything from the 4x series, use this driver:
http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/15646.html
(same instructions as 1st page)
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Stephen
