ML370 cluster servers
I'm trying to get two ML370 servers sharing drived under either AHA-2940UW controlers or Compaq 3200 RAID controllers under NetWare 6. Basically I'd like to construct a low end SAN cluster.
Is this posible?

Re: ML370 cluster servers
HP does not support either one of those controllers in a cluster. For the low end, you would want to use either an MSA500 (SCSI) storage box, or an MSA1000 (fibre channel) storage box.
You can get more info on this at the ProLiant CLuster web site at:
http://www.hp.com/servers/proliant/highavailability
If you are looking to do this in a test/lab environment ONLY, then you may be able to do it with the Adaptec controller and an external JBOD (definitely not able to do it with Smart 3200). But the JBOD would have to be dual ported (HP does not have a storage box like this) so that you could conenct both servers. Plus, you would not be able to run RAID on your drives. I would NOT recommend that you try this.
Thanks,
Doug
