ML370 how to add 2nd CPU?
we have ML370 667Mhz 128MB server. I would like to add / replace CPU's to dual PIII 800Mhz.
which I have already bought. Do I need Voltage Regulator Board (Processor Power Module) for the second CPU? if yes where do I get one? and is there need to adjust new speed of CPU? Can anyone help with quick howto guide? We run on latest version of Debian Linux.

Re: ML370 how to add 2nd CPU?
Hi
I think you have purchased two 800 MHz processors carrying the 187781-001 spare part number ( Assy Number 137365-001 ).
Then you need the additional voltage regulator. It's spare part number is, 157825-001 (Assy Number 155681-001).
No spped settings to be done, but you have to run the system configuration utility once. this utility can be accessed by pressing F10 while booting or by booting from the SmartStart CD.
You can by the Voltage regulator from any HP, Compaq Authorised daler by quoting the spare part number.
Regards,
Varuna.
