ML370 wrong number of processors
We have a ML370 G3 and have installed 2000 Server. The server has only gor 2 processors, but when we look at the system information in 2000 it registers as 4. We have applied SP4 and updated to the latest ROM, but 2000 is still seeing 4 processors. Anybody got any clues?

Re: ML370 wrong number of processors
This is because Hyper threading is switched on in the bios - Windows 2000 sees 4 logical cpu's when there are only 2
you can switch this off in the rbsu/setup
you can find out more about hyperthreading on Intel's website
