ML370

I went upgrade my nt 4.0 server to win 2000 and it was conflicting with pc anywhere and compaq management service. I uninstalled pcanywhere and rebooted my server. upon rebooting i recieved an error stating that \winnt\system32\config\systemhardware profile/last known good menu may be missing or corrupt. I tried to install a parallel install but it says no hard drives are found. any idea on how to get by this?

Re: ML370

What controller do you have the drives attached to and did you specify the driver during the parallel install?
The truth is out there, but I forgot the URL..

Re: ML370

You will need to supply 2000 with all new drivers for the system, otherwise it will attempt to use the NT drivers upon upgrade.

The first part of the install should ask you if you want to load any drives hit F6. and have a disk ready with everything you will need, downloadable from HP.
