ML370G4 (379912-421)

1. Giv me please full information about this server.(proc,ram,hdd,controllers...)
2. I set 2 HDD SCSI in the server and install OS(Fedora Core 6) from time installation system say me what i have - 2 HDD SCSI RAID 0 but, in instruction say what if you insert 2 HDD, they automatic set RAID 1, what i can do?

Hi,

1. Information on Server (Quickspecs)

2. You can only create a raid 1 volume if you have a Smart Array controller installed. If this is the standard ML370 G4 model it only has embedded SCSI(No Raid). High Performance SCSI models use the Smart Array 6402 and SAS models use the Smart Array P600.

If you do have a Smart Array controller installed you can still create a RAID 1 but you will have to erase all existing data and restart the installation.
