ML370G4 Windows 2003
Hello,
I wan't to test the installation of w2k3 sp1 on a ML370 G4, with two nics (NC7781 / NC7771).
It seems so, that the setup-routine of w2k3 sp1 didn't recognize these nics and couldn't install the suitable driver. I hadn't this problem with a ML370 G3 and the same nics.
Does anybody had the same problem?
We need the installation of a plain w2k3 sp1, for the asr-feature.
Thanks,
Thomas

Re: ML370G4 Windows 2003
The G3 uses a Server Works chipset, which I believe is included in Windows 2003. The Intel E7520 Chipset is used in this server. It's likely it will not see the nics correctly until the chipset drivers are installed.
The truth is out there, but I forgot the URL..
