ML370G6 Initial reboot RAID problem??

This is my first time setting up a Proliant server, so bear with me.

ML370G6 Tower server.
As soon as the power supplies were plugged in, the server started up (is that normal?).
In any case, worked through a couple of screens (not ordinary MS screen, probably part of the Factory Integrated Software?), choose language and picked a custom size for the OS partition (60 GB).
After multiple reboots, things looked fine. Desktop for Win2K8R2 Standard comes up.
I then attempt a reboot. The OS appears to shutdown, but now I'm stuck with a blue "HP Invent" screen, and 3 of the 4 HD's are flashing green LED's. The documentation states (for this LED condition) "The drive is rebuilding, or it is part of an array that is undergoing capacity expansion or stripe migration."

But this has been going on for about 16 hours. Would it really take that long to rebuild the RAID5?

What Smart Array controller is in your system? Normally the Smart Array will rebuild in the background so the OS should boot normally. If it's sitting at the logo screen it's probably locked up
