ML370G6, SHUTDOWN PROBLEM.

MODEL : ML370 G6
OS : WINDOWS 2008 SBS, NO ACTIVE DIRECTORY
SYMPTOMS : Intermittent(2 weeks interval) shut down AND No record IML log, No record window event viewer.
ACTION : Update hp firmware (v9.0) and Update ROMBIOS

WHAT'S THE PROBLEM?? FOR A MONTH, I FAILED SOLVE THE PROBLEM. MY CUSTOMER VERY ANGRY.!! PLEASE HELP ME.

1-check the system with smart diagnostic in smart start cd.
2- monitor temp of each cup with hp system homepage managment.

Hi,

You have to install active directory to solve the problem.

That will also fix the problem :) Remember to assign points to answers that helped in your problem. So the forum stays alive...

it is mandatory to install active directory.
(for SBS)

small bussiness server is a bundle of microsoft products, AD, DNS, exchange, sharepoint, SQL, ISA....if no AD, the bundle is useless. If you dont want AD or have it somewhere else, i recommend you to change the license to standard or enterprise...they are lot cheaper than SBS
