ML530 G1 and Remote Insight board: Server will not POST
We have an ML530 G1 with a Remote insight lights out with firmware 2.51.
When we had a power outage, and the server was shut down by the UPS, it would not boot back up once power was restored. The server would not POST. Once we pulled the RILOE out of the server, the server would POST and boot.
We had the card replaced, but it happened again to us after about 6 months when we swapped UPS's. When we physically disconnected the power from the RILOE and the server, and plugged everything back in, the server would POST and boot properly.
Any ideas of why this would happen?
Server ROM is at the latest rev.
Thanks,
Beth
