ML530 G2 Memeory Board Error
Hi all, i am having problem with my ML530 G2. I have a red light infront of the server. When I power the server on it give a long hard beep. The server will beep about every 30 seconds. The memory board does not have any light on it. I should be seeing a green light?
I remove all the memory then add them back one at a time. I am still getting the same error. I can't get the server to boop.
please help!

Re: ML530 G2 Memeory Board Error
Hi Guyana,
Try swapping the memory modules from any working server and check.
Also try to update the system ROM to the latest if not the latest from here:
http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/22049.html
If still problem persists, call HP technical support to get the hardware replaced.
Regards,
rmn

Hi Guyana,
Make sure you update the system ROM to the latest once the system board is replaced to get optimum performance from the server.
