ML530 + SA3200 + HP Insight Diagnostic = troubles

It seems that the driver version for the Sa3200 isn't longer avaible at the Smart Start Releases 7.x

when i try to use ACU --> i got the issue that the controller isn't found

when i use SS5.5 --> ACU works fine

Its not that important but the following point:

Using Win2000 Server + PSP 7.50 --> ACU & ADU will not load. Also the HP Insight Diagnostic means, that the System (ML530) is not supported

How can i fix the issue.

Using the correct version of smart start will help you.

hi Prashant,

i know that Vesion above SS5.5 are not "supported" with Genertaion 1 Servers. It was only a try to analyse the issue - as i wrote, it seems that the driver for the SA3200 isn't avaible on SS > 7.x ... can u confirm this?

the main issue is, that the Online ACU&ADU also the HP Diagnostic doesn't work

Hi,

You are very much correct on that older ver of SS5.5 will work without any issues. But there is no confirmation that support is excluded for SA3200.

But yes it is excluded from SS7.XX Since it is working fine with the SS5.5

I have checked with the PSP that shipped with 7.XX series there is no drivers for SA3200. So i think it gone.

drivers installed from PSP 5.5 so why do the ACU/ADU 7.50 hangs and HP Insight Diagnostic give an error msg. "Sytem Ml530, not supported" ?

Correct me if i am wrong.

I think you are intalling PSP now from SS5.0 After Old intalation of PSP from SS7.0. If that the case then new version exists so intallation failed.

If you are doing a new installation then i dont think it will give you error message i am using same old server over here also.

i installed Win2000k (SS 5.5) after that i installed PSP 7.50

and now i got the errors that i can't access to ACU/ADU and Online Insight Diagnostic

ACU&ADU are loading/freezing and Insight Diagnostic means the System is not supportet, but when i look to http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/locate/20_1117.html

it should be supported.

hi,

it really shamed to tell u that the IE Version 5.0 was installed and not updated.

So i fix the ACU & ADU question with updating my Browser.


But the HP Insight Diagnostic, runs into Error ---> Not supporte on this maschine

what could be the reason!?
