ML530 Series Drive Cage

The server does not recognize SCSI ID 1 in cage A and 1-4 in cage B

Do you have both power supplies installed in the server? You need to have two in order to power the second cage.

There are 3 power sup There are 12 HD in the server 72G Ultra SCSI 3 are not in the list when creating array

Could be anything along the internal scsi subsystem.

SCSI Backplane
SCSI Cable
Array Controller

unfortunately, I have seen all those cause that issue.

If this is a new install, you can reseat the controller and cables and do a system erase. See what you come up with, you may get lucky.

Otherwise, start with your best guess. I would try another cable and/or controller because I have more of those around than ML530 backplanes.
