ML530, can i install an IDE drive?


I gave a ML530 but can not find a reference that says there is an IDE controller on the board.

I would like to install an IDE drive.
Is this possible?

If it is a gen1, I would suggest you add a modern IDE controller to the system, or even better an SATA controller and use SATA hard drives. The onboard's BIOS is only capable of controling the CD and does not have support for modern HDs
