ML530 floppy boot
I'm trying to aply a RomPaq from floppy but ML530 doesn't boot from floppy. The diskette is ok because I can boot any other PC with it.
ML530 is able to boot Linux OS from SmartArray 5300 or SmartStart from CD-ROM unit.
Server set up has SmartArray as first device, CD-ROM as second device and SCSI as thrid and four devices. Also botting from floppy is enable.
The floppy seems to work ok because during boot the green led flash a while but then goes off and continue booting Linux from SmartArray.
I think that the floppy unit works ok because you can mount under linux and read and write files.
Can somebody tell me what I have to do to be able to boot from floppy and therefore appy RomPaq?
Thanks in advance
Regards

Re: ML530 floppy boot
Hi Perseo!
Simple change boot order placing floopy on top.
