ML530

Will not power up. ALL front panel lights are lite. Have reseated all that I can. It is brand new out of the box (been sitting in the box for a year since it came in new)

The server you are working on is
ML 530
ML 530 G2

In ML 530 G2 Front Panel LEDs Detials are as below check image for same details :

1 UID Button and LED Blue = Activated
Blue Flashing =
Off = Deactivated

2 Internal Health LED Green = Normal
Amber = System Health degraded
Red = System has critical failure
Off = System is off

3 External Health (Power Supply) LED Green = Normal
Amber = Redundant power supply failure
Red = Critical power supply failure
Off = System is off

4 Embedded NIC Connector Activity LED Green = Network link
Blinking = Network link activity
Off = No network connection

5 Power on/Standby Button and LED Amber = System is off (Auxiliary power is present)
Green = System is On
Off = Server has no AC power

No system board lites are on exceptfor 1 green flashing led on the system board near the 16 and 30 pin remote management connectors. All the front panel lites are amber solid on except for the UID lid which is out.

It's a ML530 G2 brand new (Feb-03) but hasn't been used until now. Won't power up as all front panel lights are a solid amber execpt the UID light which is off.

replaced everything except mother board and tested those part in another ML530 and those parts were ok. It appears that the motherboard is DOA

It was a connector behind the power supply that came unplugged and not the motherboard
