Hi all,
have a server ML570 G2 with the below setup
a 6400 Smart Array Controller with 5 72GB Hdd
the 5 HDD was configured as 2 array with
1) C: Drive (RAID 1+0) 2 HDD
2) D: Drive (RAID 5) 3 HDD (130gb)
Currently i would like to expand the D: drive as it is running out of disk space. Is there any possiblity to expand the D: logical drive.

Solution
Yes, it possible by adding HDDs to RAID5-volume (up to 12 hdd max in ML570G2). Do next steps with ACU
1. Expand Array
2. Extend logical drive
About ACU see http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c00294139/c00294139.pdf (p.24, p.25)
After extending RAID-volume you need increase disk volume capacity whithin operating system by diskpart.exe, http://www.microsoft.com/technet/itshowcase/content/diskpartnoteonit.mspx
