I have ML570 G1 Server Windows 2003, 4 GB RAM (1GBx4), 4 Processors.
Server getting restarted on its own after some time. IML Logs (attached) showing ASR Detected By System ROM.
After every restart 3 processors fails, but after running BIOS from SmartStart CD, processor becomes available. there is no error during POST.
Can anyone help me to resolve this issue.
Also, i am trying to run Insight Diagnostic on the server, but it says product is not supported. Please tell me the version and link so i can download and run the Insight Diagnostic. (there is no fail or degraded item on Hp management homepage).

Solutionmaybe you are not using Smartstart CD 5.5 which is the one supported by G1 servers

I would say there are some errors in processors that are causing ASRs...
so try reseating them - update System ROM in case server does not have the latest

I am still unable to run insight diagnostic from SmartStart 5.5
It says this product is not supported on this machine.

as far as I know G1 servers only are supported by Smartstart 5.5 but in this link
also mentions 7.7

so if you want to try 7.7 but 5.5 should work...
is it only the insight diagnostic does not work ?
or is the whole CD that gives that message when you are trying to boo?t

Only Insight Diagnostic not works. I want to scan the complete hardware.
