ML570: Missing 512 MB RAM with PAE on W2K3 Enterprise

Hello,

ML570 G2, 4x 3 Ghz, 6 GB RAM, kernel switches "/PAE" and "3GB". OS: Windows 2003 Enterprise.

My questions is:
The taskmanager show the physical memeory as 5766476 KB .
Who are the missing 512 MB RAM ?

Most likely the memory is being used for hot plug pci slots per PCI specifications....

Below is some info about how much ram is allocated...

PCI Hot Plug Reservation Options

Disable
No memory reserved

Normal
40MB for every Unused slot

Enabled, Extensive
144MB for every Unused slot

I found and set it to "disable". Now only 256 MB is missing. We don't reelly need PCI-HotPlug .
