ML570G3 compatible whit 3Com 3C996SX

ERROR:System Halt PCI Adapter not supported on Slot04.
Is this compatible card whit the Proliant Server ML570G3?
I prove that in any slot and generate the same error and the server is halt.

very much correct do one thing check the. But check for
following details :

Number Bus Speed Bus Number* Device Number** Hot Plug PCI Voltage Notes

on the above linka and check for the bus speed and PCI Voltage then check the card specs then try to install.
