ML750, SuSe 10.2 with 4250ES partition problem
Hi:
Compaq ML750 with SmartArray Controllers 4250ES (18 drives) and 5302 (6 drives).
Using SmartStart 5.50 I set up RAID 5 on both controllers. During install of SuSe 10.2, under partitioning I get following message relating to partitions on the array controlled by the 4250ES. No such message associated with the 5302 array.
"The partition on disk /dev/ida/c0c0 is not readable by the partition tool
parted which is unable to change the partition table. You can still use as they are but cannot add, edit, resize or remove."
Any suggestions as to how to deal with this appreciated.
Best regards
