Hi PHL,
I was told that we you run the FW CD that driver for the fibre coneection is not been loaded so it does not see the disk so the flash would fail.Since then i have left it as it is but you may want to try what the other forum member has suggested.

Hi,
Thanks for the info i will keep this information you have provided as the this is a live box know and is all working fine so i dont want to do anything at the moment.
When i was updating the disk firmware i was building the Server form scratch and then doing the MSA so just wanted to update the disk firmware then came across the problem at the time so know you have told me i will know next time.
