MSL6000 library connected to DL380G4

Is it ok to have a MSL6000 library with ultrium drives connected directly to the external vhdc scsi port on a DL380G4 server?
This is the external conection for the SA6i controller....is the MSL library supported on this? I know it causes problems on the 5i controller in the G3 series server.
