Management card / Ilo card

Hi, good afternoon

I had a Hp Proliant DL160 G5

Physically it had three Network cards at the back, two looks like normal network card, and the third one had a wrench icon over the card, what i need to know is if this card is an ILO or as im guessing Management card.

If someone can help me, to know the differences if im correct its a Management card.

Thanks!

Correct, that is for the management card. That server has LO100i and not iLO

Re: Management card / Ilo card

Thanks Jimmy

So its not an ILO?

Im confused, sorry. But i just need to be sure.

Yesterday i contact HP Support, and textually it tells me this:

[Wednesday, June 17, 2015 1:43 PM] -- Shubhraditya D says:
Management port - is ILO

[Wednesday, June 17, 2015 1:43 PM] -- Miguel Cabrera says:
so then a Management port, is an ILO?

[Wednesday, June 17, 2015 1:43 PM] -- Shubhraditya D says:
Yes

Im not blaming anyone, of course thats not the intention, perhaps its my error as i dont explain myself clearly

But, just need to be sure, then:

This port with the wrench its NOT and ILO?

What is a Management card, i mean what are the difference between them?

THANKS!!!!

Re: Management card / Ilo card

Basically iLO is more feature rich than LO100. ILO is an ASIC emebeded on the system board whereas LO100 is a standard IPMI BMC

Look at the quickpsecs for your server under features - infrastructure management on page 2 and remote management on page 6
