Max DIMM configuration on DL380 G4 (12GB or 24GB)

Hi

The Service & Maintenance guide for DL380 G4 lists 4GB DIMM as an option in the "Spare Parts" section (page(11). With 6 DIMM slots, the max memeory should add up to 24 GB.

However Server specification mentions 12GB as Max Memory.

Which is right?
Is maximum 24 GB supported in DL380 G4 ?

Hi, did you ever work out if the DL380G4 will take 24GB?

According to the Quick Specs, the 4GB memory options are kits, 2 x 2GB. This server could hold 3 kits, so 12GB is the max.
