Mean time to Failure

I working on some disaster prevention recovery planning, and I was trying to find MTF information for our proliant equipment. Is that information published anywhere?

Thanks

Re: Mean time to Failure

I have seen others that have asked the same question. You would think that HP would have to do such a system analysis to sell to some government contracts. I searched, just now, for MTBF, MTTF, and others and got something for HP Laser Printers but not a server system.
I know at least one subsystem, the HDs have a 1.2M hours MFBT.

Re: Mean time to Failure

HP "The mean time between failures is used to denote the approximate time a printer or other product is likely to need service or repair. Currently no industry standards exist for this statistic. At this time the HP LaserJet Printer Division does not quote a mean time between failures for printers."

Re: Mean time to Failure

This info is not published anywhere and would likely require you to sign a NDA to obtain this.
The truth is out there, but I forgot the URL..
