SolutionThe 2GB RAM option kit (HP# 301044-B21) retails for 1580.76. As you can see if you go this route you will save ~650.00 dollars and still have 1 slot left open.

as far as changing anything goes, no. Simply shutdown the server and install the RAM. As always if you are taking the server down for maintenance I would suggest upgrading the PSP and Firmware.

Note: when you use single memory module in ML350 G3 you "discard" memory interleaved.
If you use two 1 Gb memory modules you can improve performance (at least in theory) by memory interleaving using.
