Memory Parity Error DL 380 G5
Hi,
While starting my dl380 g5 the systems halts
and i receive a blue screen error:'NMI:MEMORY PARITY ERROR SYSTEM HALTED'.
My server has windows 2003 ent edition with 16gb of memory installed.
Can anyone help me about this????

minimize server I mean about memory configuration
try less memory modules in case a memory module is causing that

It may be a memory failure. If the server is under maintenance, ask HP to troubleshoot it and possibly replace the memory.
Otherwise, try removing half or more of the memory modules and start the server. If it runs fine, then you remove the "good" memory modules and install the some or all of the remaining ones to see if it fails and isolate which memory module has the problem.
