Memory Upgrade ML330 G6

I recently purchased a HP ProLiant ML330 G6 with 4 GB Memory installed in slot 3A (white).  I purchased an additional HP 8GB 21Rx4 PC3L-10600R9 memory stick.  I want to install it correctly and figure it will go in the current slot where the 4GB is and the 4GB will move to slot 6B, which is the next available white slot.  This server only has one processor.

Hi,

You may insert the 8GB DIMM in slot 3A and 4GB in slot 6B.

eg:

SLOT 1: ------------

SLOT 2: ------------

SLOT 3: SPS-DIMM 8GB PC3L-10600

SLOT 4: ------------

SLOT 5: ------------

SLOT 6: SPS-DIMM 4GB PC3L-10600
