Memory module 500202-061 / G6 or G7

Hi there,

we took the 2 GB module from a 380 G6. can we put it into a G7 without getting any problems?

Yes, you can install this memory module in G7. It is 500656-B21 HP 2GB (1x2GB) Dual Rank x8 PC3-10600 (DDR3-1333) Registered CAS-9 Memory Kit, compatible with both G6 and G7.

One HP product has different numbers:
- product number (for ordering)
- spare number (for servicing)
- part number (actual number)

the part no. 500202-061 is an assembly part no for memory module.
Spare part for this assembly is 501533-001.
