I have upgraded a DL360 G3 server to 8 Gb of RAM. I upgraded Windows 2003 to Windows 2003 Enterprise Edition to take advantage of the additional memory. When I boot up, the system counts up to 8 Gb. of memory, iLO reports 4 x 2GB modules = 8 Gb. of memory, but when I load into Windows, it is still reporting only 4 Gb. System information reports 8 Gb. on one screen and 4 Gb. on the other. Is there any special driver I need to load to take advantage of the 8 Gb. memory? I don't know what to believe since I am getting different reports depending on where I look. I also have a second machine with identical configuration and it is doing the same thing.
Any help would be appreciated.

Solution
In your boot.ini you need to add the /PAE switch to the line that loads the os
[boot loader]
timeout=0
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINNT
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINNT="Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional" /fastdetect /PAE
Thats from my 2000 Workstation but i think you get the drift

Re: Memory on DL360 reported incorrectly
Thanks for the quick response! The /PAE flag was what I was missing.
