Hi,
I'm taking part to a public tender and I have to offer a server that can support 16Gb of memory and must have max 2 Processor.
Someone told me that will be available memory board of 8GB GB ( 2 x 4GB) for the Proliant DL380G4.
Please, could someone tell me if is it true ? Could the dl380 motherboard and all the rest of the system support 24GB of memory (8x3)?
Thank you

take a look at this on page 58:

Re: Memory on DL380G4
Hi,
Take a look at: http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/servers/platforms/index-dl.html
or:
http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/servers/platforms/index-ml.html
2 servers would be advised for running dual CPU and 16GB max. The DL145AMD processor and the ML370G4.
Enjoy, Jeroen
