Memory problems in ProLiant 5500

I??m experiencing problems in ProLiant 5500 when more than 1 GB RAM is installed. Same problem on servers running Linux (Debian) and Win2K. When the servers is put under preasure they freeze. Memory options used is 328583-B21
(1 GB kits). Same problem regardless which banks the memory is installed in.

Help!

I'd check for firmware/bios updates.

The latest BIOS and firmware are installed... same problem.
