Migrating the stripe size on a HPT GEN9 Smart Array Controller

Can I migrate the stripe size on a HPE DL380 GEN9 Smart Array Controller with no loss of data?

I know there is an option in SSA to perform this. But my question is is this non-destructive ? Does this require downtime ?

Hello, 

 

the stripe size migration can be done online and should not cause any data loss. The performance of the controller may be reduced untill the operation complets. 

Nevertheless, HPE recommends to have a data backup before performing any RAID migrations.
