Migration of CL380 from Nt4 to Win 2K
Other then the January 2000 migration white paper for win 2000 dated January 200, is there any documentation specific to the CL380 for this? Also, what is more feasible installing the new OS on a wiped box or simply upgrading existing? I am just gathering info right now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Migration of CL380 from Nt4 to Win 2K
I think most people would say it would be better to start fresh since you know what you are installing -- whereas if you upgrade you could be carrying over a lot of unknowns. If you have the ability to start fresh, go for it. Make sure you backup the server right before in case you need to go back.
If you don't have the leisure of doing a fresh install, there are some utilities from MS that will test your server and see what is not compatible with W2k. This can be found on the W2k CD or on Mirosoft's website http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/
