Completed: a much simpler Servers and Operating Systems section of the Community. We combined many of the older boards, so you won't have to click through so many levels to get at the information you need. Check the consolidated boards here as many sub-forums are now single boards.

Monitoring Server

hello all,
I need your help.
I have a server dl 380 g5 E5335SRV it is installed on Centos Linux / redhat.
I would understand how to monitor the status of disk utility from HP.
These utilities exist for Windows, but also exist for linux?
thanks

Re: Monitoring Server

Hello,

you can use 'hpacucli' to query the controller for quite detailed status (don't run this too often via scripts, it could degrade performance).

hplog is another one that comes with 'hp-health'. With this you can type 'hplog -v' which should also inform you when there's a problem.
