Monitoring of the DL 380 SCSI-RAID-Controller withing Suse 9.3
Hi,
I'm just wondering if anybody has a solution to monitor the SCSI-RAID-Controller with an installed Suse 9.3. It would be nice to get informed if there's the need to echange a crashed harddrive. ;-)
Regards

Re: Monitoring of the DL 380 SCSI-RAID-Controller withing Suse 9.3
Hello Stefan,
I'm not sure if this will help you but it's a start. This is what you are looking for, but I don't know what the compatibility between Suse 9 and Suse 9.3 is. I imagine it's just a build. I say this because I work with Microsoft, but believe this is what you're looking for.
The PSP has all the monitoring utilities and applications.

Re: Monitoring of the DL 380 SCSI-RAID-Controller withing Suse 9.3
Hi Chris,
thanks for your reply.
I've already tried to install the PSP for SLES9 - but no chance. First of all it tests the Suse Version, but changing the /etc/SuSE-relaese - file didn't solve it. The installation can be started now but aborts with missing dependencies - and till now I couldn't find the missing parts for a installation under Suse 9.3. :-(
