Mouse not working on DL380 G2 with RILO

Hi,

On all our DL380 G2 with RILO, the mouse doesn't function if the Virtual Power Button Cable is connected. Without this cable, the mouse works fine.

We don't have the problem on DL580 server

Is this the newer RILOE 2 board of the older RILOE?

Also, which cable are you talking about when you say virtual power button cable? Is it the short cable that comes with the server (in a little plastic bag). And are you using the loopback cable?

It's an older RILOE, with firmware version 2.41 or 2.40.
We use the small cable delivered with the server. We also use the cable to connect the RILOE-board with the server's mouse- and keyboardport; if that is what you mean

Ok, don't use the cable that connects the mouse and keyboard. If you look on the inside panel of the server, the directions say not to use the cable.
