Mouse on RIBLOE

I have a Remote Insight Board LOE Installed on our ML370 server. Mouse and keyboard are both connected to the RIBLOE using the Y-connector, then connected to a Compaq server switch. The keyboard works fine but the mouse does not. Anybody has any idea?

We had this problem. Reseating the mouse plug and rebooting had no effect. We have a CarePaq on this server, so we had a technician come out with a new RIBLOE board and new "Y" Adapter. Replacing the adapter solved the problem, he did not have to replace the board itself.

What is the operating system. What exactly is wrong with the mouse does it function but poorly or does it not function at all. If you are running 2000 make sure you disable pointer shadows under mouse. Also try setting the resolution on the server to 640 by 480.

You're not using a monitor/keyboard/mouse switch are you? We had the same problem and found that we couldn't use the switch. The server had to have it's own keyboard and mouse to work with the Y-connector.
